I have had the pleasure and privilege of creating with children an young people for over 20 years and they never cease to amaze me. This project was no different.
The Family Learning Flexi-School, is a unique provision offering truly child centered and progressive approach children’s education and development. I been providing the children from the Family Learning School with engaging in enriching art sessions as part of their enrichment program since 2021.
Through the Creative Expressions workshops, I’ve had the pleasure of guiding these young minds through playful, mindful, and intuitive explorations of visual arts. The workshops have provided children with the opportunity to delve into various forms of art, exploring different techniques and styles while learning about renowned artists along the way. Through hands-on activities and discussions, they’ve not only built their artistic skills and knowledge but also gained confidence and nurtured their creativity.
These sessions have been more than just learning experiences; they’ve been a platform for children to express themselves freely and discover their own unique artistic voices. From experimenting with different mediums to creating their own masterpieces, each child has found joy and fulfillment in the creative process.
